BADAGRY SEAPORT PROJECT:
WHY THIS N300 BILLION PROJECT MAY NOT BENEFIT BADAGRY YOUTHS
The largest singular Seaport in Africa is to be established in Badagry area
of Lagos State and it is planned to comprise of a Dry
Dockyard and Free Trade Zone to be situated a 1000 Hectares on Gberefu Island, Badagry.
The Badagry Deep Seaport Project alone which according to Sifax Logistics
and Marine Services Limited, (a member of the Seaport Consortium) would gulp a
whooping 300Billion Naira and would become a source of foreign exchange
for Nigeria and provide employment opportunities for the teeming population of
unemployed youths.
However, this Multi-Billion Naira project may be of no direct benefits to
the youths of Badagry and its environs if.....
